Bread & Pastries

At Bread & Roses Bakery, we care about making healthy, delicious breads and pastries with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, including Camas Country Mill's organic flour, much of which is grown locally in the Willamette Valley.

​​Our selection of breads and pastries rotates based on the season and available ingredients.

Items are available each day on a first-come, first-served basis.

Organic Breads

Breads in our regular rotation include:

• Country Loaf - French style sourdough
• Olive Loaf - Sourdough with niçoise olives (pronounced nees-wahz)
• Toasted Seed Loaf - Sourdough with flax seeds and toasted sunflower and sesame seeds
• Baguette - Classic French sourdough baguette
• Meteil (me-tay) - Light rye loaf with caramelized walnuts (no caraway seeds)
• Rugbrot - Dense rye and spelt Nordic loaf with a rye seed porridge and sesame flax and sunflower seeds

Pastries

We regularly offer pastries such as:​

• Celestial snails (cream cheese, lemon curd and fresh fruit)
• Cinnamon roses (our version of the cinnamon roll but more interesting)
• Bubbly pies (Marion berries, blue berries and apples)
• Apple raspberry foldovers (apples, raspberry jam with brown sugar oatmeal crumble)
• Bear paws (puff pastry filled with almond cream)
• Chocolate croissants
• Plain croissants
• Sweet maple pillows (with chocolate and almonds)
• Maple bacon pillows (nitrite-free bacon and chocolate)
• Goat cheese and prosciutto croissants
• Smoked salmon croissants
• Herb garden pillows (herb cream cheese with roasted cherry tomatoes and sweet peppers)
